Personality
Sky is a very calm and laid back mare - she loads, she is good for the farrier, and more importantly she has the outgoing nature when it comes to having a foal by her side. She's brilliant. She's now in foal to Seattle Sun. Sky trained in racing but was bought off the tracks as a rising three year old and broken in - she went on to become a successful hunter under saddle before she was put in foal. At eight years old she foaled a stillborn colt. She was ridden a bit more but after her foal, she wasn't the same - she didn't quite have the momentum to compete anymore and the decision was made to retire her. She was put in foal then Callie saw the mare on the market as a great prospect broodmare and informed Kayla. The following day, the beautiful mare arrived on the yard, looking remarkably plump and rounded at nine months pregnant to Seattle Sun. They are hoping that her grey gene will make her stand out from the crowd.
